The yarn I used for these mitts comes from Periwinkle Sheep. It’s her sock dream yarn, a lovely superwash merino blended with cashmere and just a little nylon for durability. Her colorways are AMAZING! Subtly variegated solids are my favorite and I had a hard time choosing just one. This is her Chai colorway, but I really love Craving as well, it’s a deep, rich purple (but didn’t seem quite as appropriate for leafy mitts)
These mitts are knit in the round with ribbed cuffs and a slipped stitch wristband for shaping. Mirrored charts are provided for the leaves. The ribbing allows the extremely soft yarn hugs your wrists and hands keeping them toasty warm on chilly nights.
