Jade, lime, olive, sage*

Sorry I’ve been quiet – it is THAT time of year. The time when everything, and everyone, is so busy it is a wonder we all stay out of each others’ way and get anything done. Even Mother Nature has so much going on. The hill sides contain more shades of green than there are words in my vocabulary…

In the yard I have phlox, delphinium, bee balm, primrose, bloodroot, lady’s mantel, serviceberry, candula, columbine, daylilly, roses, oregano, garlic, spinach, lettuce, dasies, strawberries, and blackberries all growing like crazy. Inside I have cardinal flowers, morning glories, calla lillies, tomatoes, squashes, cucumbers, and more all taking off.

It’s that time of year when everyting is going so well I can hardly belive it – but it hasn’t yet gotten so roitous that I’ve lost track – not yet anyway.

The same it true in my knitting. I wonder how I stay out of my own way…
