Cuckoo Clock

Cuckoo Clock is the eighth pattern released for my Time on my Hands e-book. These fancy mittens have twisted cables to show off your stitchwork. The simple ribbed cuffs grow naturally into the cables which divide, twist around each other, and taper off at the top. You can favorite and queue them on Ravelry.

The pattern is written in three sizes: 9 (10.25, 11.25)”/23 (26, 28.5) cm hand circumference. The cables are charted, so you will need to know how to read charts. These mittens are knit in Yarn Love’s Diana in the Whisper colorway which is subtly dyed and perfect for showing off the cables. You’ll need 233-332 yards depending on the size and US1 and US2 needles.

Twisted stitch cables and chalet style cuckoo clocks are both frequently associated with Austria. These white mittens are meant to bring to mind the snow covered alps and a really good mug of hot chocolate.
